Has any one got a gaskett they don't need, a good one, it's the one that goes ontop of the silver section , under the black cover on top of the engine ,if you know what i meen ,not sure if it's the head gaskett or valve cover gaskett.


It's for a right hand drive tib 96p plate 2.0 ltr i.

buy one from the dealer its less than 20 bux

and its the valve cover gasket

When you put the valve cover gasket on, do you need to torque it to prescision or can you just tighten it down good?

Less than 20 bucks????
I went to a few good spares shops at the weekend, they said they don't stock them, they are order only from Hyundai and would cost me £60 , about $108, as you can imagine i did'nt order one from them, i thought about contacting Hyundai myself but dealers over here tend to quote silly prices too.

do not tighten it to much it will crack. TRUST ME. torque it properly
