hey guys, this isint for me but i got a friend whos looking into possibly getting a tib

we looked around locally but a few good ones got taken pretty quick, and the rest are stock with higher mileage on them for 8-10K+ (canadian)

looked at the past few tibs sold on here and most of them are either sold or further south then i would want to bring up

were in calgary alberta so a province over and northern states shouldn't be to bad for driving it up, never brang a car from the states but cant be to difficult right?

her requirements are...

RD1 or 2, no FX models though
stock since chances are if theres a few aftermarket stuff they drove it harder
5 Speed
Sunroof
Leather preferred
and 4-5k usd max

Those all look a little far for someone in central Alberta, Canada.

*scratches head*

Well, he said that if it was in the northern states he'd be interested. I consider New York a northern state, but true, not very central.

Idaho is kinda in the middle, but more central...

*shrug*

A day and another back shouldn't be too bad to pick up a car imo.

I bought my old truck on Ebay from an individual seller.

Here's how my transaction worked:

-Won Auction
-Payed $1000 via Paypal
-Drove to Houston to pick it up
-Test drove and gave it the look-over
-Took it to get inspected by a mechanic
-Was happy with it so I gave him the rest via Cashiers Check
-Called the insurance company to put it on the insurance
-Drove it home along with all the papers needed

It was everything he said it was, no BS, and I drove it home that day. That was my experience, but you never know.
