Since my car will never pass emissions I figure I might as well get rid of the cat, especially since its starting to smell like eggs. So I need a test pipe or some sort of piping that's 2.5 inches and that I can bolt on or weld on in place of the cat. Anyone got something I can use?

I have tried just about everyone made and can not get one to work on the RD2. I pretty much gave up and got a high flow. I know Java had some luck with the MIL Eliminators. I know they have been talked about before I just dont remember the page off the top of my head.

I've got an SSautochrome test pipe. It has a 2 bolt flange on one side and a 3 bolt on the other. I bought it from UltraTibby awhile back. $20 plus shipping if you want it.

Am I missing something? Why won't it pass emissions?

^^ Yeah... really it isn't worth it to get a straight pipe. The power difference you can't hardly even feel, and its much louder and more annoying for you, people around you, and it would attract police more.

Besides, 50% of all the car emissions comes from 10% of cars, because they haven't had a tuneup or are using cat convertors. Be nice to the environment.

tc, post pics of your new ride gurrrl.

okay, i'm not fully understanding something. if you get a test pipe, you won't pass emissions either. nobody can pass emissions without a catalyctic converter of somekind.

i was looking at: from ebay.

can that connect to the downpipe and the cat-back exhaust and take the place of the test pipe on the bottom of the car? or what?
