I'm looking to get some PRD Spark Plug Wires to go with my new valve cover. Anybody got some? I heard they're the better than NGK wires. If anybody's got some, please give me some info on them and how much you want to sell them for.

Thanks thanks.

Awesome guys, thanks! I wouldn't want to buy something that isn't there. So how are these better than NGK? A former Tiburon owner told me he got the same or worse times with NGK wires compared to stock and the ignition was essentially no different.

Essentially while we're on the subject, why do people buy these wires if they don't really do that much? I'm buying them because I think my current ones are really old and are not performing to their fullest potential. Also for looks party.gif

found this on a search from Faith:

ngk = cheap good replacement wire made by a company thats been around FOREVER

prd = more expensive pretty wire which would net you a extra .00001hp if anything at all (it hasnt been proven if the prd are any better performance wise...the one test we have was old wires vs new prd wires)

but if anyones got more experience, spill it.

^^^Far as I know they are like half the price of the NGK ones...And if they are supposed to perform better, then what the heck, lol wink1.gif

They are great wires, have a lifetime warranty, they look great.

I'm going to them for sure.

As for gains?

Dude, if you see major gains that you can notice from wires, you got issues.

HAHA. yeah or you grow rice in your driveway. by gains i meant like if you feel anything different in the engine's performance, idling...anything different in ignition.

so they finally came after that long easter break. they look good, very durable. even though there would probably have been no difference between NGK's for $30 cheaper, these wires look like a good set of wires. Especially because of the colorwrap part, make them look very nice.

i'll have pictures of them installed saturday finally when i have some good time to myself and nature. is it spring? because i haven't looked at one flower for three weeks.
