Well, what I want to do is put a bigger shifter surround on for my Rside Advanced so I don't have to worry about the shifter hitting. Figured I'd just use a RD1 surround, have her design a boot for it, and mold it to fit.
Now that I think of it though, I may just use a RD2 Auto Surround. Know what they look like? It would match up perfectly, I'd just lose the "styling ring", but I don't care anymore.

Just be careful about the mismatching of the RD2 and RD1. The RD2 shift surround won't match the RD1 stereo surround, and vice versa, as you know.
The surround I have also DOES NOT have anything to tie the boot into. You'd have to be creative. madfawk.gif @ Futureshop!!!

That's why I said I'd have to mold it. But if the RD2 surround is shaped the same (Hole wise), then I'd be good to go.
