Ok, Ive been having weird acceleration problems at low RPM... I replaced my MAF with one off my other Tib, reset the ECU, and still have problems. The MAF looked clean but I'm gonna clean it with some contact cleaner later, just in case.

But anyways, I have a Dae Sung TPS... and the Tibs got a decent amount of miles on it so I'm assuming its starting to go bad...

I hear that some local shops like O'reillys and Autozone sell them, but I dont know if they carry Kefico's... And Id assume they are a special order part? or do they stock them I wonder?

I know there have been alot of these bought up already on the site, but does anyone have a good one available?

Go to the dealer and get it replaced for free.

 

Um, I wish I could... but Im not the original owner and its not under warranty anymore... sucks for me. I thought about taking the TPS off my other Tib, but I checked it and its Dae Sung as well and it has more miles than my current one...

 

They may still replace it since it's a TSB on it. Call them up and ask, if they don't do it, it's no loss but a few minutes of call time. Autozone, the dealer, you can get a replacement TPS in many places. Maybe even Ebay.

^^^^ Don't pay that much. Ask around on here first. People will pop up sooner or later. I got my spare one for $20 shipped. Let me know if after a couple of days you still don't have one cause I don't plan on using my spare one for a while so I could always sell you mine. I know i got a bunch of pms when I asked for one a month or so ago.

 

Heck Hyundai only wants $58.00 for the Kefico TPS brand new. They also sell the Bosch for $55.00 and the Dae Song for $50.00.
After talking with the parts guy for about 5 minutes I got my Kefico for $54.26 with tax and overnight shipping to me. The dealer (Fox Hyundai; Grand Rapids, Michigan) is 8 hours from my house. The couple dealers I called had them in stock.
