hmm, just saw that DIY, it looks like it's a separate part, cause there should be something underneeth where bulb should be held.

hmm... you know you might have PwN3D me!! i forget the plastic housing is the one inside. i remember holding my hand through it when doing the angel eyes. i'm sorry, yes i think there is another plastic piece in there that's attatched to the assembly and not the housing.
your best bet would still be to get a hold of a used or broken headlamp. maybe somebody has a headlight they replaced with KDM ones. i'd go ahead and post a wanted for a headlamp. it might just be quicker. they could probably sell it for $20-$30 shipped but who's going to take out the reflector and sell a headlight without a reflector.
P-easy, you can take it out if you like to help him out like that and send it but remember it's going to Ukraine. hopefully it would come uncracked. you would have to place it in a small box with easily packed foam inside.

I believe the KDM are glass.
