Wtb: Fuel Pump!
#1
Been having problems for a year, and it's getting worse. I think I've got it narrowed down to the fuel pump.
I'd like a good condition (known to be working 100%) stock Tib/Elantra fuel pump, or a DSM.
I ain't gonna lie...I'm broke right now! Trying to repair two cars at the same time and just dropped all my savings into an engagement ring. crying.gif
Plus I'm not 100% sure it's the problem, so I'd rather not spend a lot on something that may not be needed.
Anything under $20 shipped would be cool...anything higher than that and I'd just grab one off DSM Trader.
Thanks biggthumpup.gif

just to let you know
if a stock pump has been out of the tank for more than a few hours, the seals go bad and it will not work...i installed a 190lph pump, was running too rich, put the stock pump back in, didnt work...checked everything, still nothing...put the 190 in, worked fine!...bought another stock fuel pump from a guy, got here a few days later, installed, nothing. checked everything, still nothing...190 back in, works FINE!...talked to my dads friend who manages a shop, said that after its taken out, if its not back in within 2-3 hours, it wont work again...it dries out, seals go bad.
and yes, i primed it before starting it up...if youre needing a new pump, go to the junkyard and try to get home as quick as you can.
dealership its almost 300$, and thats with a guy selling parts for 25% over costs plus shipping
