WTB: Chrome 17" or 18" Rims with tires

Well, whatever. I was going to put 18's on my car because my friend has them on his Talon and they look super sexy, but then I started to notice things......the ride in that car sucks, you can feel every bump on the road....he also had to roll his fendors.

If you get 18's, you can run a rubber band for a tire and have the exact same overall size as stock, but you will feel every CRACK in the pavement. Also, the only 18's I have been able to find are 18x7.5. You will rub when you turn with these. I have not been able to find any 18x7's.

I am going to go with 17x7's with a 205/45/17 tire. 18's look hot on small cars like ours, but they are just not practicle.

wow, what a reply, lol, well im glad i heard all that input, so if i was to want something to look good and be worth the money, what does everyone think i should go with, i want a good ride, but something good looking and not gonna mess stuff up

I would suggest one of the following, in this order.

1. 16's with a thinner tire. I think I'm runing 50's or 55's. They fill the tire well very good and look nice. Not too big. And, then you can lower it a bit with no problems.

2. 17's with a medium tire and don't lower it.

Here's my tib on 16's. I can find the exact size if you need.
