2000-2001 black center panel with one opening (din?) as shown in photo. name your price.
I'm also looking for a 2000-2001 stock manual shifter knob.

^in two weeks repeat that cool.gif redz you never thought i'd be making these kinds of posts ever did you? hahaha... i'm so happy just to be in the club now. you know my taste, i won't let you down.
ok type2, i won't need the shifter anymore i've got things figured out but thanks bro. all i need to do is put a washer there to raise the boot it's all good now.
I can paypal you for the dash piece so long as you have your new one at hand. I wouldn't want you to be without one while waiting for the new one.

hahahah. i was saying that you never thought i'd be needing 5-speed stuff did you? and i'm in the 5-speed club now which means i get to bug you guys for all related parts. i just ordered a GK pedal set from SFR. and i definitely did upgrade and will show you in two weeks when it's finished.
little mods shouldn't be such a big deal, but hell i've got 5-speed now!! that's almost as close as getting laid!

What I meant was, if you are buying RD2 parts for your RD1, why not go ahead and just get the full KDM dash kit?

i have a few reasons why i didn't upgrade to the dash kit is because i love the look of the simplicity of the original one.
It should fit right in. I've heard about there being an uneven portion in the shifter surround that I'm trying to get rid of, hopefully this will eliminate that, though I've heard it won't help. I just don't see how it cannot work. I'll have to take a look at my sister's RD2 when she comes around again.
*Update type2ac has hooked me up with one. It should be a direct swap and should get rid of the difference.
