Hey everyone! I heard through some other forums that I could put 1.8L pistons in my 2.0L and it would increase my top end? I kinda want your input on this and if it is true, I'd be intrested in picking up some 1.8 Pistons!!! Let me know!

now what will the 1.8 cams do for my 2.0? Will they fit right and will it throw anything else off? What will I need to go about doing for this? What results can I expect?

Sorry man, the first thing you need to consider is some lighter performance modifications before you go for engine internals. A CAI, Airram or BIM and a BBTB, headers, exhaust, and quite possibly the manual swap.

I'd also seriously start looking for some good looking rims that are a halfway decent weight. You can really get some GOOD looking rims that are pretty damned light my man. Internals are best left for when you start building up a FI system.

1.8 pistons in 2.0 will rise compression ratio to like 11:1
