I have an 01 tiburon with the stock alloy 15" wheels. I need the center caps in near perfect condition. (ones on the car are starting to chip...) Anyone have some to sell or a part number for which I can order new?

You can get them from the dealer. Shouldn't need a part number, it's a fairly common request. One is about $20 tho.

yeah i called the dealership in mobile, the guy wasn't sure which one (even after I told him the alloy wheels) and after about 15 minutes said he needed the vin number, but the prices on the ones that I described to him were 25 a pop after tax....

Needless to say I would rather not have to pay 100 dollars for 4 center caps.
Thanks for the response though!

Maybe just repaint the ones you have?

It may become an option if I can't find anyone on the forums I post on to sell.
I just have never painted them before and don't want to mess up or make it look worse you know?

I doubt anyone will have one for sale anytime soon. People usually sell the whole rim, doesn't make much sense to separate the rim and the cap.

Just try to paint one, it's small and you can redo it a lot of times until you get it just right. Then once you know how, you can do the other 3. And maybe even repaint the whole rim also, there's a DIY on that here somewhere.

Hi,
I actually have 2 that I can sell. Once I bought 3 from the web, but I actually needed only 1. I offered them to Tiburon Guy for $15.
I'm waiting for his reply.
Tiburon Guy, you can also try painting them as others suggest. If you go for this option, use spray paint, won't look good with brush paint. You will need to take them out for this and be careful not to damage the back part or you won't be able to put them back.
Let me know what you decide. If you don't want them maybe somebody else needs them.
Cheers.

OK, I guess he doesn't want them. If somebody else needs the caps I have two in like new condition. I can provide pictures.
