I want the spark plug seals off of item number 16 at the upper left of this itemized parts breakdown sheet.

I don't want to have to buy a whole valve cover just because some stupid rubber seals hardened up and started shooting oil down into my spark plug holes. I sealed it with high temp silicone RTV for now, but I really want to get ahold of some new gaskets for the holes at the top of the valve cover which allow you access to the spark plugs.

I thought I had seen the o-rings for the spark plug holes in the valve cover listed in the contents of a valve job gasket set...
...the local dealer doesn't carry them separately?

just get the whole valve cover set, it's cheap at autozone and comes with the rings and even those little half moon pieces from the head. I didn't replace those though, seems stupid seeing the original ones are metal and weren't leaking. Warning though the rings are a pain to get out so take your time, you'll have to cut them out if they are like mine.
btw, #17 on the sheet does NOT come with them, I bought it from hyundai thinking it would, so I'm reusing the rings and putting a new gasket in. The rings haven't been on for more than 5k though.

I bought a valve cover gasket from the dealer a couple weeks ago and the rings you are talking about came separately. However, they were only like 2 or 3 dollars if I remember correctly.
