that's where i got my tranny swap parts from. the quoted me $1450 for a new 5spd tranny. that was about 1 1/2 years ago. i don't know if the price has gone up, down, or stayed the same. you might have to call them, though. i don't know if they have it listed in the online catalog.

They charge you $1.95 per search, but you get it back if the yards you call don't have the part you want.

I just paid 1500 for the full tranny swap yesterday. So I guess that's a pretty common number for this swap. Only thing is I got all new dash, front suspension, new door panels and sunroof and the tranny setup. So maybe you can find something cheaper for just the swap. I paid an extra 500 bux to make it an even 2G's and I got the full engine and computer and about 55 pounds of wire and cable. You may find that you are the only customer for your junkyard and use this to your advantage. I know those guys don't get 1500 bux for hyundai parts every day...

edit- just had a thought.
The new tiburon problem put hyundai tiburon in the light, so prices came up a bit, more ppl know what a hyundia tib is now.
still doesn't explain turbs $2000 tongue.gif

A scarp yard huh? are those particular to canada??? tongue.gif jk,
Yea so after doing some topic searches, i figure it should only cost me about that much, and a garage is no problem being in the navy and all, i can use their lifts for only 2 bux an hour or 5 bux a day for storage, the only thing that will cost me is the aftermarket clutch, flywheel, shifter, knob, what else??? i dont know, ill figure it out.
Did anyone ever post a step by step swap with pics and stuff??
