stock oem crank and rods

Re: NOT SAFE FOR WORK THREAD!
I have both. There are pistons on the rods though. I dont have the bearings but there are only 4k on the rods and pistons. The crank is from the same engine, again, youll have to get new bearings. I dont need them since im getting an Audi. There were going to get prepped for my beta turbo motor. In fact, i have the entire motor with the exception of the block for sale. Whats that type of stuff go for? 75 bucks for the lot?

Re: Interior
seriously man
i have never seen anyone sell just a crank or just rods
the only time someone asked for a crank.. random just let them have since we used to have a whole scrap yard of beta I, & II parts...
But he threw all of them out.. 02.gif
So my new project engine is assed out..
i have bearings, shims, pistons, rings,... everything waiting.. even the block
so just name your price man and ill go ahead and paypal ya..
Let me know what year beta.. so i can know the flywheel size.

Re: Interior
Its a Beta 2 motor, 2001. I have no idea what shipping is to LA for an item like that so let me find out the cheapest way to get them out to you and you got them. Say, 75 for the crank and rods plus shipping? The parts look so new its scary.

Re: Slim/thin fans?
hmmm
i just realized
its a beta II
i dont recall if the bearings are identical...
i know they are similar... look identical...
but when it comes to bearings... the slightest size difference can fvck everything up.
Hmmm
Let me find out..
if they are the same.. we can talk..
I might have to just buy the crank from you.. i have enough beta I/ beta II rods to put an engine back together..
Shipping is going to hurt... that crank is one heavy mofo.

Re: aftermarket parts and stock parts MORE STUFF ADDED 12/6
Bearings can be tricky its true, but thank god they dont cost much. The blocks are identical i thought, just some differences in the head like manual vs. hydrolic lifters. What ever you decide, just let me know
