If/when you get your hands on a stock airbox, you might consider doing what I did. There's a K&N drop-in filter in the stock filter location. The front inlet hole is still there. What is not obvious from looking in the engine bay is that the bottom of the air box has two fat holes cut in it, about the size of the stock front hole. My dad was visiting, playing cars one day and he wanted to get silly with the dremel tool. As I had a parts car at the time I figured it couldn't hurt anything. It sounds beastly compared to the stock intake setup, but doesn't look like anything's been done. Call it a warm-air intake
