My hood is in horrible shape. The girl who had it before me must have love to ride people’s butts b/c there are spots where rocks have hit so hard that it has chipped all the way down into the metal. The guy I took it to the get an amount for repainting it said that
painting it would be stupid b/c the amount of time and money that it would take to fix it wasn’t worth it and that I should just go out and get a CF hood. Which I can not afford. So I was hoping that someone on here has a CF hood and needs to get rid of their stock one. My car is the stock plum, so I would need one either that color, or black (they are so close in color, that I don’t think anyone could tell really). So if anyone has a stock RD (97-99) hood and are looking to make some room in their garage or storage area I would be willing to help by taking the hood of your hands wink.gif (for a decent amount)

Default REDZ's 2000 Post Whore/10,000 User Point Party!!!

What year is it off of? I need a 1st Gen. Unless a 2nd Gen will fit, which I don't think it will, but I could be wrong.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Won't look right. Heck you can make anything fit with the right amount of force.

if you go w/ a white hood, it might be a good accent to your car. sorta like how ppl put a black hood on a white car (even if it is carbon fiber black)....it COULD look good

i'm just saying that it might not HAVE to be a matching color
