thats what i'm lookin for. that clear thing so you can't touch any of the needles and such.

I've had mine off in order to keep my needles accurate after my gauge face install...and i ended up cracking it 02.gif

if anyone has an extra, lemme know. thank you

i don't mean to steal the thread, but i'm looking for an entire gauge cluster, preferably from an RD2. <-- This post intended for RedZ's eyes (since you're goin to a junkyard and all...)

what's funny is that, i just pulled my plastic cover out of the cabinet in my garage, and i was like...hmm it's a pretty nice day out, maybe i'll take apart the dash and put it back on... instead i go shoppin...heh

yah i coulda looked on eBay, and in fact i saw one yesterday for half the price of the starting price of the one you linked, and it ended yesterday, so i email the guy and he like jacks up the price, so i was like forget it. I only wanna pay like $25US for it... cuz i'll just be foolin around with it.

they will NOT be different.

the clusters are the exact same size, its just the internals that are SLIGHTLY different. a rd1 cluster will work perfectly in a rd2 and vice versa i assume(i have a rd1 cluster in my rd2).

yea.. I could not figure out why they would be different either. The two cars are more similar than not.
