Heh, it's a trick as far as I've experienced. I spent a couple hours in Lowes trying to find the correct bushings. My current setup, which works perfectly, was also ridiculously obnoxious to get working. What I have is a plastic bushing inside the metal arm's hole, and then inside that is a brass bushing that has been bored out (to exactly the ID of one of my dremel grinding stones, conveniently) so that it -just- fits the ball on teh bottom of the shifter. Basicall it's as DIY as it's gonna get, and I'm sure you can find a better solution then that, even as well as it works for me after all the trouble.

I know what you're taking about. Its the plastic joint that the shifter slides on. Always wondered where to get one. They wear over time but usually every 120k or so. Am I right?

I saw a brass flanged bushing at Lowes that looked like it would work, can't remember the measurements though.
