possibly looking for some type of tuning softwear. im turbocharging my tiburon soon and need something to tune it myself.
possibly like an smt6 or something else not sure what else there is help me out? haha

smt6 is only a piggyback, the two main choices for standalone are megasquirt and aem fic. In all honesty man, these have all been covered here and all over the web, you really just need to research.

ok thanks for the help and yea i know but some of these forum answers dealing with the tuning softwear confuse me. thats why i was trying to just get a general answer

going on a general answer will blow up your engine, if you want to understand this stuff youll need to do what everyone else did, read a lot, then some more, then ask specific questions then learn some more.

AEM FIC is not a standalone. It is a piggy back. It just happens to be a very good piggy back.
It allows you to change injectors without going standalone or using a second rail. You can retard ignition timing and control a bunch of other sensors. But i just want to make sure you know it isn't a standalone.

yea thats the one i was looking at possibly buying just because it seems like its good quality from what i was reading and its really not too expensive compaired to some other tuning softwears
