They should be interchangable, correct me if I am wrong guys. I would definately try to get rotors locally, these things are heavy!

Midnightsp.. you found a non captive hub at the junk yard?
I'm not for sure, I was just seaching junk yards and found a 2000 Elantra. But I have just recently discovered that I don't need any of these things (rotors or hubs). Me and my BF jacked up our cars tonight to see if his wheels would fit on my car without any modification and they did. The backs of his rims are exactly like mine. They have cut out and everything for the captive rotors. I don't know if anyone else has ever tired to put 01 rims on their 97 or 98, but it seems as if they fit great. I'm going to post to see if anyone has had any problems witching rims.

Mmmm, sorry I should have said something. I have second gen rims on my first gen.
So I'm guessing you didn't read my original post well, did ya laugh.gif! Have you had any problems out of them being on your 1st gen? Do you still have captive rotors?

Yes, any Tiburon wheel will fit any year Tib.
When you said your BF was getting some new wheels, and giving you his old ones, I JUST assumed that he had aftermarket ones he was giving ya!
