all of you euro guys know what Remus is. They have made mufflers for our RD's. Help me get one, and ship it to Poland so I can pick it up. Here's what ours looks like:

otherwise i'm looking for a universal one just like the one above. it's called "sports-label". if anybody there can find one for cheap, i'll feel great.

correct, it is a Bavarian company, but their division in the U.K. has always made them for us since our cars came out, and a perfect fit at that! A far as the buyer's market, you can say RARE. the universal one is very similar, but way too expensive. I don't think they make them anymore, but they are certainly still tossed around in Europe.

supposedly these are supposed to be greatly silenced, and real easy on the ear. i'm going to see if UKCS can help me out later on. maybe the junkyard has some but i haven't seen BMW's and not the right inlet size.

I thought you were going for a quiet exhaust? I can't imagine that would be very quiet.

haha probably not much better than the magnaflow!! ya know i'm not sure if it's straight through or sound deflecting... i really want to take a looke at one of these at the junky yard but from they sound clips i've heard they all have this distinctive tone to them. it's hard to say, but worst case i'll get that leftover resonator put in.

I must say that spray on sound deadener around the muffler was probly the most effective for my car. Next was deadening the trunk with sound deadening tiles and then the wheel wells with more spray and tiles. Just a thought if it's too noisy even with a resonator.

While they are beautiful, I was always told it's just another "REAR" section, like the HKS exhaust section.

What does this mean?

It means you are a ricer, and are running a stock exhaust with a fancy muffler.

Also, not cheap at ALL.

Hyundai Coupe 1999>2002 Rear Muffler 286099 0570F $350.00

Yup, just a rear muffler.

Check out the pic there. That's a LOT to pay for a m uffler.

who's to know? they'll look at it and compliment it more than anything else. nice links, they have made both dual and single portions for us. yeah it's a lot to pay for a muffler, way too much, but there isn't anything more factory looking. haha when you say ricer with just the axle-back, i end up thinking back to the Monza Pacesetter hahaha

i am such a ricer though anyways because any Mini Cooper is faster, any Camry is faster. definitely not going to boost considering i cannot afford to both physically and monetarily.

this one is an axleback but it's a factory fit, but the one i'm hoping for is the universal. the aftermarket one is a 2.0 inch opening, and it's good enough for a 2.25 pipe to put it into and weld shut. so what if the last 10'' are .25 smaller? it but it's just way too expensive at around $359 minus shipping, wow:

i am going to have a crap exhaust for sure, but i'm usually known for fudging up a few times before i get it to awesome. i think of this more like an experiment.
