I'm looking for the little piece of metal that holds the low beam in place...I have been using a paperclip for about a year now and it just isn't cutting it anymore and it's driving me crazy that my headlights never align anywhere near close to each other..

... How is the paperclip "not cutting it"?

If it's not working well, got get a heavier duty paperclip.

A regular office one is too weak.

You could always go to Lowes or Home Despot and pick up some of that thin hard wire and make your own.

You can get that same drawn wire at any decent hardware store.

even better... in the back of advanced or autozone in the "HELP!" department, they have throttle body springs and misc spring packs for any situation.

Get some of those spring packs and you can bend the springs with ALOT of force. I've used those springs to make clips for my IAC and my MAF sensors which got lost durring cleanup. It's the same stuff as the stock headlamp clips are made from.
