Well I just recieved an e-mail from the parts bin that the clutch tool I ordered over a week ago is out of stock and they had to refund my money. Anybody have one or know of where to get one?

If not, anybody who has put a clutch in before, is there any way to rig one up?

you can just tighten the pressure plate with the clutch disk being held steady with a friend's hands centered, once the bolts are somewhat tight it wont move, you just have to make sure your friend aligns it in the center, otherwise the input shaft wont go through it

^^^ I'll give it a shot. First time changing a clutch. Didn't know if it was semi-easy without the tool or not. Thanks alex

hey bro,

you should have told me earlier so i could have given you mine and sent with the obd scantool, dang!

yes, you can do without it but you have to be really accurate and careful... it might take a little bit of trial and error to get it lined up

btw, dont you have a parts store that does a tool loaning program or something? you can even try to "rent" it from a shop... it's just a good handy tool to have, it will make it easier, especially your a virgin to this

good luck

^^^ I would have told you earlier, but I just heard yesterday that partsbin doesn't have it. I've already tried a bunch of different places around here and nobody has one in stock.
