Supercow, yes, i still need one. Can you get me the MODEL # so I can look it up?

It needs a HDD? How much do those cost for laptops?

I've got a Windows 98 over here somewhere, that should work.

What is the make and model of the laptop? i may be interested if its a dell. i could use it for spare parts for mine. Let me know if you haven't pitched it already.

No, I was mistaken, it's a Toshiba Latitude. But yeah, it hasn't worked since I grabbed it last night. Turns on, works with a spare monitor, but the screen on it aint werkin.
Sorry dude-bros.

I've got a Gateway 400VTX with upgraded memory to 1GB RAM, and upgraded EDIE harddrive to 120GB, Pentium 4. Same problem though, the battery I have is completely dead. I got a desktop to replace it, never bought another battery.. Sold to me by Zhyrist on here a while ago. It'll run Vista or XP, I have both (and was used for SMT-6 dual rail tuning), fing02.gif. Has serial port and SMT6software on it.

I was gonna try selling it for $400 on here, but if you have a nice condition 24" flatscreen monitor or bigger, I'll trade you for that.

^^^
Hit me up on IM about it man, I'd love some specs so I can look it up, let me know what you want for it, and I'll see how much a new battery costs.

Actually, YES> LOL this is just for me to work on my tuning with, so as long as it runs 95 or higher decently, it's good enough.

What you want for it?

I'll get you a service code for it. Um I'll take care of the hdd and os. I've actually already got a few 80 giggers on the way, they were in the 60-70 range. And that dell already has an os license so we can just use that.

That one from Patreezy sounds like a pretty good deal if you want to use the laptop for anything else though. fing02.gif

It's more than I can afford in the near future though.

More info Supercow? I may pick up that one from IronFox, but I'd like to know some more on yours, maybe it'll be a bit better for a decent price.

Dell Inspirons

inspiron I8000 (has a built in DVD and two expansions on the front)
BYSV701 - p3 850 mhz
256 mb memory
dead hdd

inspiron 4000 ( has two expansions on the front)
4CJ2K01 - p3 850 mhz
256 mb memory
dead hdd

I also have a burner for the expansion slot here to include with it if you want. the other slot will have a battery. Most likely the battery won't have much life left if at all. these seem to be going on the ebay for ~20.

I've got an brand new 80GB laptop hard drive here and will load windows 2000 on it for you. We could load xp but then I'd recommend a memory upgrade, xp with the updates idles using ~200-250 mb of memory. Plus the laptops have 2000 licenses.

If you wanna buy it thats cool if you want to trade thats cool as well. After a new hard drive and fresh install I'd put it at the price of $250.
