SR can get you the Korean Spec headlights for $170 for the pair. That's much cheaper than any salvage yard or dealer.

Do you just need the vertical brace with the hood latch on it, or do you also need the horizontal braces? Upper or lower or both?

I need the horizontol brace and the verticle brace with the latch on it. I may be able to do without a new verticle brace, but i do need a horizontal brace for sure. Thanks for the info on the headlights and any future info.

*Edit* Jaws, what condition are they in?

i think i can help you out with the radiator braces... me and random have a hook up here at a local junkyard
Email me
animal3767@aol.com

As far as the headlights

the drivers side is fine... the passenger side is fine too, but is slightly cracked (the part thats on the inside of the engine bay and NOT visible and NOT on the clear plastic)
They have been on my car like that for a full year, and i havent had any signs of condensation

Well let me know man

Jaws021-

All the tibbies in the junkyard near us are gen2's. He needs a gen1 rad-cross-brace, not a gen2. Also, they all have severe front end damage, we would need the parts off a rear ended gen1.

Emagdnim-
What happed to your Tibby? You need BOTH headlights, hood latch, and both the horizontal and vertical cross braces? I take it the whole front end is toast? I'm about 75% sure the lower radiator cross brace is welded on, not bolted on, so I'm not sure if we will be able to get that for you, but I'll call around to see if I can find a gen1 front end in decent shape and go from there.

It might be cheaper for you to buy a "front end" or "front clip" off a wrecked car that was rear ended. You can usually pick them up for under $2000, and you get everything from the firewall forward...engine, tranny, lights, turnsignals, axles..etc.etc.. You can then sell of the parts you don't need (engine, tranny, fenders, hood, etc..etc..)

Naw its all good man, i was going to keep it under raps untill i finished, but it doesn't really matter...thanks though. I'm really gathering parts for the 1st gen front end swap onto my 2nd gen...soooo if the bottom peice is welded on, do you know if its the same as the one from the second gen, it looks similar. If it is the same, all i need is the top peice. So if you have any ideas, i'm open. Its something i'm very serious about doing so i really want to have as few problems as possible. Thanks again for your help guys, please keep in touch....later

MATT

BTW: Jaws, I think i'm going to go ahead and buy clear corners strait up unless i run out of money. I'll let you know on that one....thanks

I quite possibly could be "some guy Chris"... either way I'll check my connect as well. Me and you will actually be in the same boat. Except for the rear tail lights you'll have a similar setup as me. 1st gen body, 2nd gen CAR!
