i have some.. but they still have the rods on them...

You would have to pay to have them pressed out.. unless you want them like that.

Rods and pistons were also hot tanked.. so they are CLEAN!

They are also not mine.. but the owner is gay and very friendly. lol.gif

Do I get the high compression effect with the 1.8 rods, too? Or are them the same like in the 2.0?

I wouldn't call the 1.8L pistons "high compression". They would bump a 2.0L motor from 10.3:1 to about 10.8:1. High compression is usually 11.5 or higher.

To be honest, it's not enough of a change to really make a power difference. It's not worth paying someone to install them for you, but if you're going to do the install yourself, you're only wasting your own time (plus the cost of the 1.8L pistons)

If you use the 1.8 Rods as well.. it will actually dump your compression to about 7.5:1

Who ever told you they were good "high compression" pistons are smoking crack...

For the pain that it is... spend some more cash and get REAL pistons that will also include rings as well...

What your trying to run isnt work the pain in the a$$ factor.

I thought you had blew yours or something.
