Alright, so here's v-1 of what I'm considering doing. I have some issues with it still, but this is the general idea. Yes, it's almost exactly what redturbulance has. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, isn't it? smile.gif
And yes, that's DTN's car... I'm pretty sure I lost all my pictures when I reformatted last, kinda pissed about that.

can you post just the graphic so that I can chop it? I think it needs to be rotated and warped a bit
uploading a few more
I'm looking at the turbulence option as well, but I'd need a better idea of how it would look actually on the car instead of just chopped over the ridges on the car.
Another thing is I think the stripe down the center contrasts the curves and gives a single solid reference point which forces the viewer to realize the curves of the car.

I like the one you just posted (the turbulence one). I'd change the shape of the stripe to match the body a little more, put the tip of the strip up to match the fender line.

Well he would be wrong nana.gif
If you want to go back to the stripe go for it. I like the side vinyl more though. Was there any fading underneath the strip you took off?
I see Caj lurking this thread again, lol
