Suicide Tibby Takes Home 1st At Hin!

Nope... the hood is Carbon Fiber. The evo insert swaps out (mesh or acrylic) The acrylic doesn't like the heat.
I'm not a huge fan of the rims myself, but everyone told me I couldn't fit them on there so I had to prove them wrong. My tibby is mostly show... she's a garage queen... BUT IT DOESN'T GET ON A TRAILOR!!!! I drive it to shows. Thanks for looking everyone!

that's really slick. congrats!! tell us about the work that went into the doors?
i think the rims are too complicated and do not match the personality of the car at all. i would have gone with some black rims with red circles on the inside. or maybe even just black with polished lip. other than that i have to look at the details again because it looks professional.

I had black 17's on there before with a machined lip... they looked so outta place. Then I had some 5 star racing wheels on there (17's) They where Ultra focal F5's and they where all right, but they ended up on the wifes 2000 tiburon.
The hood is a carbon fiber EVO hood. I actually saw one on ebay abd asked a guy where he got his. He ordered his from Carbon Creations. So... I called them up and 1300.00 and 9 weeks later I got a truck in my driveway. The acrylic hood doesn't hold up to well though, it started bowing real quick from the engine heat.
Now the doors... I guess this is going to be a bit extensive to explain. I bought the bolt on kit from AutoLoc... JUNK! After hacking and hacking... It ended up in the trash and a few pieces. That kit, I swear, is made for s10's only... NOT UNIVERSAL! So I made my own hinges out of 3/4" steel. I cut off the back end of the door and welded the bracket to it. Started upening the door and it hit the quarter panel. So I had to adjust all of my pivot points and make it able to open far enough to get in it. Then I took it all aprat and cut out the door sills and pillar sills and reworked 20ga steel around the door sills to make a smooth fill and moved my latches and installed the silonoids for my door poppers. Welded the back end of the door back to the actual door and smoothed it out and made the latches work. Now it's painted and ooks just fine. But it took a total of about 2 months to finish up just the fabrication and installation of the doors.
I guess it's cool that it is all hand fabricated and it is probably one of the only one's like it. I'm sure there is an actual front door suicide kit that could have been used but I have more pride in it from doing it from scratch rather than a kit.
Yeah! I agree! I need different seats! I just don't want regular ol' racing seats. I think I'm gonna end up having mine a reupholstered Black with some red inserts and piping.
