the hardest thing to doing a swap, especially with a 4g63 is going to be fabbing up new mounts/brackets and dealing with getting shorter/longer driveshafts for the new trans..
most of the hard stuff is things that you can't sell as a kit.
if anyone has good fab. skills and some available downtime on their tib, with the budget, doing another FWD swap wouldn't be hard at all. now doing an AWD swap would be a different story.

gasha: The brackets and slider are actually the original RD1 brackets and slider. But "butchered" and rewelded to fit the Recaros. Will try to take pics for you the next time i go see my car.
lilo shark: thanks mate! I need all the luck I can get, LOL
OK some slight updates.
-The 2 mounts that go from back to front (engine mounts i believe?) have to be modified. We will try to maintain the 2 left and right mounts.
-The stock RD1 front anti-roll bar has to be replaced with one that has a "hump" in the middle to facilitate the gearbox. (other wise the entire engine will be too far forward)
-Fitting the evo brembo brakes will be a major headache as the RD1 front and rear knuckles aren't suitable. Will probably source for a Mitsubishi GTO front and rear knuckle.
that's all I can say so far..my car has been sitting in the workshop for 1 whole month now. Progress is slow but I don't blame my mech, I'd rather have him take slow and do things properly than rush into it and have shit blow up or something. drillsergeant.gif

Short update:
Project hit a snag. The workshop currently has got no workers! And it's already been 2-months since the Tib went into the workshop and with little progress. I might consider moving the car to another workshop.
SIGH.....
