I think you got really lucky getting a white one man. It looks like pure sex cool.gif Btw, what do you have done to it?
And ya, he's not a big fan of chrome lips either but the price was right ($300 with decent tires if I remember correctly).
And thanks for the offer, I really appreciate it fing02.gif For now though, I think I will just go with clear corners and tinted tails, and then concentrate on getting my stance right (wheel spacers, lowered).

Yup, those are they.

That is the most modified couch I've EVER seen. Way to go mang.
BTW, good job on the intake, first time I've seen one fully made from that kit. I don't see a spot for your MAF in there though.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Personally, I think you should nightshades the front corners
and cover the rears</div>
I think I'll stick with clear corners because I'd want to do my headlights, marker lights, and fogs to match(I'm really lazy).
I'll definitely be nightshading my rears though.
Btw man, I LOVE your car, especially in it's current form. It's been my desktop backround many times in all it's different stages fing02.gif

And ya, that's one very lucky couch. It makes a great backdrop so I take pics of all my mods on it before I install them. (mostly that one pic laugh.gif )
I think I got pretty lucky with the intake. There really wasn't a good picture of it on the auction page, but it was the only one that actually stated the size(3") which I needed to match my bypass valve.
I had to buy alot of crappy chrome painted plastic pieces form autozone to complete the kit which I'm not at all happy with mad.gif . But for now it works.
And luckily it did come with a hole for the MAF sensor, it even had a rubber collar thingy to boot smile.gif

I think you were looknig at DTN's car fing02.gif lmao.gif loooooooool lmao.gif
And thx for all the feedback guys!

So I got a couple of new things on my car.
-Painted front calipers red (will do rears this weekend)
-Lots of blue wire loom in engine bay (who doesn't love brightly colored loom) cool.gif
-Oil cap from group buy (metallic blue)
Anyway, I finally got access to a good camera. Long story short, I called almost everyone I knew, nobody had one. The last guy I tried said he might have one I could use, and it turned out to be a really nice DSLR!
I didn't spend alot of time washing because I'm lazy, but there is some old wax on there that is still showing lmao.gif
Took about 1/2 hour for engine bay, and 1/2 hour for the car.
Also, I did a full burn on some of the pics using The Gimp (kinda makes the pics sharper and a little darker).
O ya, and the car isn't leaning, it was on a slant tongue.gif
Painting the calipers was fairly easy, except for the super low quailty brush that came in the kit.
I now have brush bristles that are a permanent part of my front calipers mad.gif
I took lots of pictures that would make for a great DIY thread (I think there is one already though). Maybe I can just add them to that thread?
My next project is going to be freeing up the intake side of my engine.
Steps will include -porting a stock IM I got from IJSTBRNDU
-sending TB to Dennis for boring
-Saab MAF
-Installing the Phelonic spacer set I got for Daniel
-3" diameter elbow bend piece between TB and MAF
After that I'll probably purchase an equal length header from KFX.
Thanks for looking guys smile.gif

Looks good (except the loom). If you can, just replace all of the hoses with blue hoses. The loom looks kinda cheap. But, like I said, otherwise looks good.

dang dtn, those photo's are really swaying me on the nighshaded corners.. maybe headlights as well?
I still think the tinted rear covers are too dark though are those the ones from kspec or sfr, whoever was selling them. I might have to get some of that nightshades stuff though.
btw, winston put wheels next on your list, besides turbo they are still my favorite mod. Better handling and it completely changes the look/attitude of your car depending on what you get.

^^^Lol, I probably should have expected to get a bunch of s*** for the loom tongue.gif
I'll be doing the hoses this weekend.
The car isn't quite that dark in person, I burned the photos a little bit plus it was kind dark out when I took the photos. I really wish it was though, I love dark blue on cars.
Also that turbo kit looks like it's coming along really nicely. Did you make the manifold and fuel rail yourself? If so great job! fing02.gif
How many are you planning on selling? I am definitely interested in getting my hands on one.

Thanks man. I can't decide if I'm going to keep the loom or not. If it matched the other blue colored stuff better I'd definitely keep it. I'll see how it looks when I get more stuff in there.
And ya, I bought a bunch of blue hoses in various sizes at autozone, I should be putting it on this weekend.

Wheels are near the top of my list. I want to wait until I have enough money to do them at the same time as coil-overs.
I also have some more research to do because I want the widest possible wheels I can fit. I'm kinda leaning towards 17x8 with 225-40-17 and +12 offset.
