They are welcome to their opinion, especially here, as this site is PRO Hyundai, PRO MOBIS, and PRO Import, those stupid looking 80's sedans with 20's on them are gay, and should be at their own car show, sporting their gang colors.

If you don't like a car than thats fine but I'm offended about the fact that someone would associate a car with ghetto or even gang colors; (thats pretty sad when you are the administrator of this site with the whole gang color thing) but back to my point it is still a tuner car, just because it's not someone elses taste doesn't mean that they didn't work hard to get what they've got; alot of people probally don't like your car or my car but who gives a rats ass thats is what tuning is all about. I just plain don't like those cars, I think it's a waste of money to put that much into something and still have it look like shit. That's my opinion, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion, just like you are with your car. Please don't tell me what I can and can't say about someone else's things. It's not a shit talk session, it just happens to be some people's opinions that these cars are unattractive. If people would like to think that my car or other tuner cars are unattractive so be it. That is their opinion, and I'm not going to cry over it. You're sorry you are entitled to your own opinion? I'm not sorry, I'm glad you are entitled to your own opinion, but that means so are we. In our opinions, those cars, look like SHIT. Should they be in a car show? Sure, right over in the Cryps and Bloodz section.

Respect is EARNED, not given. I can ADMIRE the amount of work that went into something, but putting big chrome rims on a shitty 80's box sedan, slapping LCD screens in every corner, and then calling it a show car, does not earn my respect. You can put eleventy billion dollars into a turd, but it's still a piece of shit.


What is sad about what I said? Unfortunately, in most of the country, the folks you see driving those shitty old sedans, with "dubs" on them and really exotic paint jobs, are gang members, whom make the money to do up their "ridez" by selling drugs. Nothing sad about what I said, it's fact. I live in New Mexico, the only folks you see driving that kind of shit here are either gang members, or former gang members. I lived in Cali for 12 years, same thing there.


When it comes down to it, the modern TUNER is someone that works on their car, performance wise. Putting LCD screens and chrome dubs on yo fly ride isn't tuning, it's actually DE-Tuning. Go look up the word tune and let me know what you find.

If you dont wanna understand that point of view then maybe this will. Imports are associated with street racing which is illegal, whether we do the whole street racing or not, one look at our cars and thats what may be thought. but does it mean we do it?

any car that someone actually takes the time to build is still tuning, I don't care what anyone says, if you don't like it fine but there is no need for all the gang/drug dealer talk, you don't think drug dealers or gang members don't drive various other cars? Very well written my man. That's why we have the trouble we do, and why we are automatically profiled as street racers whether we do or not. I don't, and have to prove it regularly.

On the other side of the fence though, even if those that drive the cars we are talking about ARE NOT gang members, or former gang members, plenty of folks find those cars horrid, and just idiotic. I didn't see one of them that I even cared to look at for more than 5 seconds in this thread, and at a car show, I walk past that entire section. YOU HAVE YOUR RIGHT TO LIKE THEM, we have the right not to.

Keep in mind, I do the same thing to a lot of the "Show" cars that are imports. If they have 22 inch rims and 33 LCD screens, I walk past and shake my head. I'm into TUNING my car, and a bit of show on top of that. I've ripped on enough members here that want 18 inch rims, dubs, chromies, spinners, what have you, and everyone knows it.

I'm sorry, but you are wrong. That's "Building a show car". Tuning is the act of making a car perform better through the process of putting on better parts that increase performance.

The word "Tune" means to make adjustments to make something perform better (guitar, piano, car [I'm going to get a 'tune up'!], )
