So there was supposed to be a car show a couple of weeks ago. But this well organized event at the same time came up. Apparently finding a car for a video is more important then an actual car show.
We had planned on going to this car show My buddy had his heart set on the $200 grand prize. I was hoping to get a trophy. About 2 hours into the car show we found out that they didn't just change the place, they canceled the origonal event. My buddy walks up to me and says "maaan... this isn't a car show, this is some other stuff." So he drove through the crowd outside somewhat pissed, and left.
I stuck around, saw the sights. There was a radio station, live entertainment, vendors, everything you could ask for out of a car show... Just no awards. I waited until about 10PM on a work night before I left. People standing outside the building around the stage wouldn't move, so i put a big plume of blue nitrous above my car(the pic from my avitar is on a nearly empty bottle). They moved real quickly after that. lmao.gif

the lotus and that old truck are the only things that should be allowed on the streets..
the rest of that stuff is garbage..
the tvs in that one SUV are all diff. sizes in headrests and look like a 12 year old fabbed them in.
the box in that one SUV is horid, looks like a wally world special.
wtf is up with the chucky mobile with the 800$ tv in the back.. how retarded.
that first thing, a milan??, not my taste but done VERY well i must say.
the monte carlo... two big chevy symbols on side. im sure there were more, and rims that SAY 26... what are those people thinking.. seriously.
i live near detroit so i see all those ghetto cruisers with their flashy paint jobs, and there wagon wheels all the time.. i used to get a good laugh out of it, but now i want to run them off the road... they got their big rims, the upscale maaco paint jobs, and clicking 200k on odometer and blowing blue smoke at every light.. ill never understand it.
was this show in the ghetto by any chance?

^^It was in the Capitol of South Carolina, Columbia. On the National Guard Armory.
These cars are very popular around here. They'll take an older car, jack it up 2 feet off the ground, put huge chrome rims under it, get a wild paint job and lots of ICE(most of which is not hooked up). That style of jacked up car with huge rims is called Donk. They win car shows around here more then Tuners, Classics, Exotics, Imports or Domestics. It's the style. Columbia has alot of them.
LOL socks, The truck is owned by my buddy who said "this isn't a car show". The lotus is from another guy who works on Fort Jackson with me. Those cars you pointed out are not from around here... LOL.
Kustomized: i like the way you think man.
$1 paypalled to the first person who turns a tiburon into a Donk!

ya, my Dad lives in Fort Wayne IN and when I go to visit him I see those jacked up montes with the ginormous rims all over the place. Not of big fan myself, makes the car look way out of proportion.

Just to clarify on this... Most of the people at this show were civilians from the city of Columbia, or maybe National Guard soldiers. The Lotus and the Chevy truck were people I know from Fort Jackson.

The $1000 80's car with $20,000 aftermarket and 24" rims is huge in every ghetto town in the US, Detroit and even little ol' Muskegon where I live. It looks like shit in my opinion.
