I dunno, I think the tiburon looks good with a hood scoop. I have one on mine. http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff111/D...ed/100_3863.jpg But I don't think that looks right on that tib. It is just not part of the car.
Maybe if he lowered it and put a bumper or a lip on the car. It just dosn't flow because the needle nose on the front makes it look like there's nothing under the scoop.

a scoop is meant for two things. to make room for a high rise intake (which we all know this doesnt have) or to provide air to enter from either the front (no openings) or the back (cowl hood). if this doesn't have a opening in the back, it was totally a waste of money, which i am pretty sure it is. if he actually cut a hole in the hood to provide heat to escape, then kudos to him.

^^ Yep.
Scoops can work on Tiburons (DTN, yours is definitely acceptable), and that one could too. However, the 'notstrils' need to be fixed (or just opened), the front of it has to flow better (fiberglass) and it has to be for a reason (turbo, ITB, or large IM).
How he has it now is just gross.
