I won the Scoote hood on e-bay for $245 shipped. I know I'm going to hear from socks about it.. I can happily say I've purchased what I consider to be the absolute best parts for functionality, durability and lastly, fashion. I'm very happy with what I've purchased.

Now the waiting starts. I'm going to go mad until Wednesday of next week when the last of my parts will (hopefully) show up.

Dude, OBX hoses? Why? Did you not even think about the Samcos? Way better quality and you get all 3. Other than that it looks like you got a good plan.

no point in spending the extra 70$ or w/e on the samcos unless you want to get a color besides red/blue/black and need the small 90 degree hose to make you feel warm and fuzzy. or if you wanna be able to say I HAVE SAMCOs.

i see no point to get the 90 degree hose anyway.. theres a VERY VERY slim chance for that one to wear out or burst. theres no stress on it like there are the other hoses from engine movement.

the obx hoses are really good quality. alot of the srt guys use the charge pipes made by them and the rad. hoses.

That's where I'm getting mine. You don't NEED FAL fans, but trust me, you WANT FAL fans.

I'd get them from Summit Racing if you can find a coupon code.

There's some flex A lite 220's, watch that auction.</div>

I found a set on craigslist for 215 shipped!!!

I would love FAL fans. I've maxed out my budget (including projected painting costs, projected cost of bay time, and projected misc hardware expences) for this repair.

i think the hood will end up probably looking pretty badass since it will be the color of the car.. for some reason, i was picturing a CF scoote hood when he first said he got one.

i think to work though, needs to be ONE solid color instead of having black accents like i was going to do with mine.

that is a FANTASTIC price.. i paid 450$ shipped for my scoote.

<250$ shipped for the best functioning hood on the market would even make up for it if it didn't look awesome.

^^ Yours was made of CF wasn't it? I think you got a great price on it. I've seen FG scoote hoods go for that price.

It's going to be Cobalt Blue.

What a great Idea. The vents SHOULD be black.

This is the reason wrecking my car hasn't got me down. It's going to come back and I think it's going to be better then ever.

Socks had a great idea last night. The underside of the hood has a channel that goes all the way from the scoop to the back of the hood. I'm going to duct that scoop onto my intake manifold.
