^^
That's a RD1 hood, but I contacted the manufacturer and they said that is just a generic picture. It can come in any of the colors above. The blue is Royal Blue which is the flat (non pearl) equivalant of Cobalt Blue. I think it would match well. I'm curious though, I've never seen it.

There's some flex A lite 220's, watch that auction.</div>
Ok, I think the fan situation is squred away. I really DO want the FAL fans, but I can't justify spending $50 for something that could be free from Coal Forge if I stay stock. Maybe if I have cash left over at the end.
Thanks Tib500
Socks: I think that GT kit is too low for safety.

Too low for safety?
Uhm, NO.
Here is the flex a lites for $200 shipped.
Cheapest you'll ever see them.

Tried to give you the link in the soutbox but you didn't answer.
The Flex a lites are more than worth the money. Your car will run cooler, your AC will be MUCH colder, and they are about an inch thinner than the stockers.
Not to mention, each one pulls as much CFM as BOTH of the stock fans.
Amazing, I've had them on my car for years now.

the GT tech lip is like 1" lower than stock bumper.... only reason it looks so low is cuz the pic angle, and its slammed.. you would have plenty of clearence, more than you have with HD lip.
thats NOT an rd1 hood. and i would stay away from a hood manufacturer that isn't KNOWN to make a good hood for the rd2.

grrrr... I can't seem to bring myself to buy them. It's like I can go back to stock and add a lip on the bottom, or I can spend $300 more and get an entire body kit.

As for parts when I got my quote the stock hood was only like $400 I got my cf hood, right fender, radiator, front bumper(aftermarket), Clear corner lights, ps HL, alignment, and compressor replaced and it only hit $4760 Thats parts and labor.

OMG... owned.gif
Don't buy an invader kit, PLEASE! I like the GT lip Idea, and the sides look sharp... but that rear needs to be something that you BARELY notice... Your car already has alot going on back there...maybe a lipped rear too.
I'll help you look tomorrow about all that stuff...
and OEM cf hood = FTL. mad.gif
