Beta Drive line/Shaft Problem/Confused
Passager Side: 1998 Elantra 1.8L automatic.
Driver Side: 2001 Accent 1.6L automatic.
In uk. The coupe and Elantra are coming up as same parts but after buying they are different.
Could anyone Link me to right parts on rockauto so it don't cost me a bomb to ship back to usa for returns, Also is there any difference in ABS and Non ABS ? (my Accent as ABS btw)

There is a difference with the ABS version compared to the non ABS version. The ABS versions have ring teeth on one end for the ABS sensor. Have you tried a local autoparts store for the axle? Thats where I bought mine from when I replaced them.

Dude, the inner CVs on the automatic driveshafts won't fully lock into your transmission. Or rather, they wouldn't fully lock into MY transmission. They are just too long. You can easily swap the manual CV cover onto the auto axle though

With those axles listed above it will lock into the beta trans, trust me i have used them. If you followed my swap and slotted the mounts to move everything over 1/4 for belt and pulley clearance then these are the right ones. If you didn't slot the mounts then they might not work. Only difference between abs and non abs axles Ive seen so far on Hyundai's is the ring gear that that abs axle has. Other then that there is no difference. there are other axles but i figured you being in England an all that you wouldn't want core charges.
APWI Part # MI8094 Front Right non abs $41.79 no core charge
