Alright guys, I haven't been active here for a while. But I have decided to sell my tiburon. It's not a family car. I put a show policy on it and store it 8 months out of the year in my garage. It's not making sense anymore to do that, a year of car registration, and insurance on it all the time, for the little bit I drive it... I'd rather have the cash in my pocket. We have two family cars and I have a company car... what am I doing with all these cars! haha

anyway... here are some details

-Windows tinted
-Cold air intake
-Custom mandrel bent catback exhaust with an extra glass pack muffler as a resonator, makes it sound deep and aggressive, but not so loud it pisses everyone off, including the cops. It's just the right sound level. If you really do want it loud the second muffler can be replaced with a straight pipe for $10.
-Custom gauge window
-Short Shifter
-Aftermarket rims - alloy -Strut bars front and back (shark racing brand I think)
-Sony CD deck and (2) 12" woofers and amp in the trunk
-Some custom painting. Have dash, inserts, and parts of engine painted red (car is red)
-New tires within 5,000 miles
-Custom pedals
-The big thing would be a custom targa top conversion, think targa Porsche or targa corvette. It's like t tops without the t, the whole section of the roof comes off. This piece snaps back in and bolts back on for driving when it's not perfectly sunny out (or it's too sunny and you don't want to be sitting in traffic in 100+ degree weather!)
-Then of course roll cage welded into the frame
-Frame unibody under the car is "wrapped" welded for reinforcement as well
-misc things all around like turbulence bading and what not, tiburon windshield banner, etc

it has 40k miles on it, it has always been garaged except when I lived in vegas near rob. for 6 months there it was parked under a stupid covered parking stall thing. I don't know what that's called.

it's in utah currently. i am the only owner of this vehicle. i'll show it by appointment only, make me an offer. I'm not parting it, for sale to the right person. I love this car and enjoy it extensively. I just don't think I am going to sit on it for 14 years until my son can drive it.

Renewal on registration ends this month, if I can sell it by then it's gone, if not I'll keep it another year. If you buy it in Utah I'll include safety and emmission inspection.

yeah post a lot of pics, especially with top off. I know someone who would def be interested but with only 40 somthing thousand miles on it it might be too expensive.

a lot of us still remember. i knew exactly which car this was and jumped in here to see a price

 

it's probably high on price compared to most of them offered in here, there is no body damage or anything... the last winter it saw was the winter in vegas 01/02
