MBRP Full Cat-Back for 97-00 Tiburon
It's never seen the outside of the box, the tape on the box hasn't even been cut yet. I'm selling it for what I paid for it (I just want to break even). I was really excited about getting it, but it no longer suits the plans for my car.

Who makes it, and how muchie?
Also, if you didn't open it up, how do you know it survived shipping intact?
Email me about it, I'm gonna be in KS in a while so I could come and pick it up.

Ok, MBRP.
Who the fack is that? I thought MBRP was a style, or what it was made out of or something. Don't forget, I started at this forum by telling everyone that I knew nothing about cars and was generally an idiot if it wasn't painted camoflauge and shot at once in awhile.
So what's MBRP? Who makes it? I saw some for sale on Ebay a long time ago.
Second, price.
Still need that. How do I know what he paid for it?
Third, yes, it's an exhaust system. How do you know if it got damaged in shipping? The Space Shuttle is a Space Shuttle but we got one of those damaged in shipping right? Granted the tape isn't cut and the box isn't opened, but is was the box crushed? Did something heavy hit it and it's bent inside? Is everything even in the box from the MFR? If not, and I was to buy it, I wouldn't be covered for the damage or missing parts.
poke
Thanks anyways though.

MBRP is the manufacturer. The people that made it. I paid $495 for it, with some shipping mixed in there somewhere, so if you actually picked it up, it'd be less. It's a full cat-back system. If you want me to, I'll open the sucker up and make sure it's in perfect condition. I just assumed it being unopened would be a selling point. The box is fine, just like it came off the shelf. When are you going to be in KS?

REDZMAN, from what I hear the 2000 tib have a 2 bolt flange after the cat whereas the 2001 have a 3 bolt flange. This is why Speedstate requires you to indicate whether you have 2000 or 2001.
I'm not 100% positive this applies to everyone but I thought it'd be something worth mentioning.

Hmm... Good points all around folks. Thanks.
I've got the 2001 and it's in New Mexico so I won't be able to check the flange for at least 3 months.
Kharne, I'm going to be there in Late July to pick up my other car and some stuff in storage. It's gonna be awhile, you might wanna go ahead and sell it to someone else.
If you still have it when I get back, I may pick it up.

Yeah, the fact that you have a 2001 is a problem. It's pretty safe to assume that you have a 3-bolt flange, and this setup has a 2-bolt (hence the subject limiting it to 97-00). It's not true that ALL 2001 have 3-bolt, but I'd put money on it.
