Group Buy On Switchblade Keys
#1
Hey guys
I've been browsing this forum for a while now and I've seen that you guys don't have good experience with switchblade keys. Well , I'll try to change that.
First of all , let me start by saying I am a professional lock smith. I don't own my own company , but I work for one.
I've seen the switchblade key on Shark Racing. I'm gonna check at what price I could get them. I just need to know how many off you guys are interested.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>NONE of the keys I've ever had for any Hyundai, every copied by the template method at any store, have ever worked in the ignition. Most of them wouldn't even open a door reliably.</div>
This afternoon , I copied my key at work. It works well on both the doors and the trunk. Unfortunetely I have an immobilizer , so I can't start the car with it. It does work perfectely to turn the ingnition on.
Tomorrow I'll see what I can do. What kind of budget would be necessary.
If I could fine the codes for the keycuts , it should not be a problem for me to cut the keys. I could have Shark Racing send them to me (or my company). Like Redz said , they have a pretty good service outside of the US. I could then cut the key at work and get them shipped to you guys.
Just need to know how many of you would be interesseted.

it probably has more to do with the locksmith doing the cutting. i know every time i get just basic copies done, more times then not, it doesnt work, or it will open my door, but wont start the car. ive had to go back to remake keys more times then i could count on one hand.

we ran a group buy not to long ago, nice idea but they were the crappiest pos ever, and if you find the thread there was quite a few people who shared that thought... i never even bothered getting mine cut cause it felt like it was gona break just turning the ignition, all flimsy and crapp-o plastic
