thx java, Look guys, the car is my first car, I will always love her just as much as I love this forumn and the people on it. You guys know so much and have alot to offer. Im sorry if you feel as if you have wasted time by teaching and advising me. If i could have it my way, the car would be in my garage getting ready for a fully built motor but school is kind of a priority unfortunately and I just dont got that kinda time or money to be pouring into her.

so someone can say in plain english they would basically fabricate there car to sound better than it is to make it sell for more, and the post will not be locked? and also not post a price, which i believe is a RULE.

Any more complaints? There is a price listed in the first post, it was put in by Faith. You asked him to clarify what he meant by "not going to be completely truthful" and he responded.

 

Don't be dishonest about the car dude. I'm very happy with my RD1, the guy who sold it to me said it was perfect blah blah blah. He failed to mention it has a Maaco paint job, if that, and gas pours out the tank every time you fill up. And the belts needed to be replaced. and the plugs were screwed along with the wires. and the rear pads were in dire need for a change. After he told me he had boat loads of shop work done with new everything, full tune up, liar.gif You gotta be straight up... I can understand wanting a new car and I respect that, but at least be honest with people. And post pics!! Haha.

hey hey, just noticed this. easy on the fella peeps. he's a good member.

first, the new tiburon is nice. i think we'd all agree it's a step up. i mean i drove the base and have confirmed the quality of the car is much improved. it's nearly the same car though, just better quality and a gas quenching V6 that is just as fast as my 4 cylinder. my friend's silver 06 SE definitely has a James Bond look to it but my car is clearly nicer looking parked next to him haha. i do have to say besides the bodyshell his car is up to par and mine is just an unsafe plastic tin can.

second, KAW is selling his car but that doesn't mean he will leave the boards. he'll just have something that's newer. KAW, i think what REDZ and the others are saying is we're losing another good member to the (mostly) uninteresting and highly argumentative newtiburon crowd.

let's get this right here. KAW, create a new thread when you get like 10 photos up and a big description of the car as well as its history. we'll lock this one on your say if you choose. mods, sound good?

 

yes i still have a complaint, you know why, cuz that makes no freakin sense.. being dishonest and putting your car back to stock have no correlation what so ever..

Socks, the reason the car needs to go back to stock to sell to outsiders is;

1- its highly illegal to modify ones emmissions (headers delete first cat)

2- when people see mods and such, they assume car was beat to death.

3-I want the mods to sell them, sorry if I just cant afford to go, o hey mommy and daddy, can I borrow your credit card and go get me an evo MR or wrx Sti... not that ever want one of em but still, you get the point.

I wasn't personally offended because he wants to sell it, my problem is folks that come to the forums, ask questions for a month or two, make huge plans, then just sell the car. It is just a huge dissapointment and waste of time.

 

been on here for more then 2 months, been searching through here for over a year. Believe me, your knowledge hasnt gone to waste.
