FS: Silver 2001 Tiburon 5 Spd
#1
Ok guys, im looking to sell the tib, kinda lookin to see what I can get for her.
She has a little under 60k miles soon to pass that mark. She has an aem intake, headers, catback, underdrive pullies, ngk plugs and wires, 1.8 ecu swap, and outlaw spacers. She has front and rear sharkracing strut bars and tenzo R passion 5 17x7's. I have all stock pieces. The dash has been painted silver. Fog lights and custom mesh grill have been installed as well as a homedepot DIY lip.
She sadly needs a paint job. Passanger side has some primer on the rear quater panel which was slightly damaged 6 months ago. It has since then been professionaly fixed and looks perfect. Rear lights have been shaded but I also have euros to throw in as well. This is probably a very decent project car for turbo. Tranny and clutch are running strong. All 4 wheel bearings have been replaced upon installation of drilled and slotted rotors.
She is quick I must say and very reliable. Im just interested to see if anyone would be interested in my tib and how much I could get for her. Im sad to sell it but I really want an 03+ black tib with the delta and a 6spd.
Thx guys.

No, ive always liked the newer tibs and ive been wanting to sell her for months. I honestly kinda want a stock car right now. Ive done alot to her and its to the point where its more of a project then a car and I dont have the time for it bro. So rather then leave the hyundai community, I want a new tib. I love the interior's and I think with tint and lowering springs they look nice, thats my opinion. The origional intent was to turbo the car, i just plum dont got the money or time to invest in something thats always going to need my attention. Unless this new job goes well, i need to sell her. The only reason I actually want the car is for a project anymore. Hell, if i knew i was gonna get flammed I woulda never said nething. I just wanted to know if any of you guys were interested before I revert her to almost stock and sell it in autotrader and piece the performance away. I love this place, its an amazing website that pwns myspace or facebook neday.
Redz, its not as if any of this isnt thought through or hasnt been racing through my mind for the past while. Sorry if thats the impression I give you. Look, if a few things that are goin on in the background work out, the tib stays and gets parked to be built as a nice weekend/track car which is what ive always really wanted.

extensive pics and description will really help us put a price on it, think of it as a potential buyer's walk-around the car type thing

ditto on that one..
how is that soo much work that its now more like a project car lol its all bolt ons..
also, i cant stand when people not only change their minds BUT when i spend time and stuff replying in a thread about what they should do and why, and then they change there mind..
and whats up with all the members ' i might wanna sell my tib, just wondering how much i could get for it'
you say you ran out of money to go turbo? by time you sell your car, fork out the extra $$$ for the gay GK, you could turbo'd the rd...
without seeing pics, i say ~4000-4500$. will probably need a new clutch within <10k miles, especially if someone is romping on it... also, theres not a lot of people that want a car that needs to be painted, decent paintjob is like 2000$. if you want a stock car, you pretty much have a stock car, or could make it stock in about 2 hours..
post up detailed pics, more details about any oil burning, oil leaking, shape of certain parts, etc...
i thought you HAD TO HAVE A PRICE to have a for sale thread..

yeah, i gotta wait till it stops raining like crazy then ill get some pics up. Not sure what I can get for her thats what i was lookin to u guys to see whats fair. Otherwise im not going to be completely truthful with other people who want to buy it locally or via ebay.
No oil burning, no oil leaking, i dont drive my car like an idiot cause traffic is too nutty. Have never been to the track with her and Im not too big into light to light racing cause its hard on fuel. Dont get me wrong, ive had her going before, but street racing is plum stupid, people get hurt.

? in other words, like I said in the very first post, revert to stock, make it look completely untouched...
y r u getting mad... that confuses me, Im not personally harming you or your car. You cannot expect people to have the same car their entire life. Hell man, things change get over it. I came on here to ask for interest, didnt ask for your comments, if you wanna lock me out go for it, was just trying to help people on here.

Why is it that people feel personally offended when someone decides they want to sell their Tiburon? I still have not figured it out. Yes, we are passionate about our Tiburons but if someone decides they want something different that is their perogative. I understand what he is saying, if he does not sell the car here he will remove all of his aftermarket parts and revert it to stock. Heck, I am going to do the same exact thing if mine does not sell on here.
