hey long.

When you color match the tail lights, how bright do the brake lights actually shine through that paint? I figured it would be significantly dimmer becuase of the type of paint. Just wondering.

Yeah ik that. I used VHT on my tails. On his website he color matched a vehicles tails to the actual color of the car. I would think the paint used to do that would be too thick to let the light shine through. I was just curious.

Ive seen it. Im actually going to tint my tails a blue to match. You just do a light coat and mix clear with it I think. Im going to have the body shop guy next to my work look at it.

I'm also going to close this up. Long hasnt been here in a long time. If he pops up he is welcome to PM a mod and get this going again.

Coming back?......I checked his profile: Yesterday, 10:44 PM, is when he was last "seen".

Maybe he ain't interested in doing it here anymore.
