This came on the red tib when I bought it
It is only one month old.
2.25"

I will sell this thing for kind of cheap for a few reasons..
1. It is not a TRUE cat-back, there are aprrox 3-5 inches of the stock exhaust pipe welded on connecting the cat-custom exhaust (I was told this is because the shop that originally did it made the pipe too short for the car, I did not purchase this exhaust though so I don't know ALL the details)
2. Since it is all welded together, you will need to take it to a shop and get a flange welded ($20-30) IF you plan to run headers.
3. I need to sell now, I'm broke!

My experience with this exhaust is that the sound is AWESOME. I am a VERYYYY picky person when it comes to exhausts, and this sound is very good IMO, low throaty sound that isn't very loud at all unlesss you're flooring it (but this is my only mod on this car, so maybe that's why it's not too loud).

The muffler tip looks sexy, it's not a big 'ol rice can. Even though I don't like yellow much, the little bit of yellow looks nice. (in the pic the tip looks WAYY small, it's really not that little, heh) http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a52...5/IMG_0854.jpg
I'll try to get some more pictures up if requested, but 97tibby has the cord to hook up my digi cam to the computer mad.gif

Performance-wise you can DEFINITELY feel a lot more pull in the high-end (again, probably would be better but this is the only mod done to this car). Also I don't feel much loss on the low end, maybe because it's 2.25" as opposed to 2.5" (which I've read 2.25" is better setup for N/A people)

If I didn't spend so much extra on gas/food/plane tickets/tollways/parking to go get this tib, I would definitely be keeping this exhaust, but I borrowed a lot of money to get the car so I need to pay people back. 02.gif

There also might be 4-2-1 headers, and drilled/slotted rotors for sale soon.

No dibs, whoever has the cash first gets it.

Asking price is $215 + shipping OBO

where does the exhaust you're selling bolt up? Is it to the cat or right at the headers? I have headers but my flex pipe was too short... does 1st O2 sensor plug into the exhaust?

price is a lil steep for a used custom cat back, that is not really a catback, with the flange missing, esspecially if its mild steel and crush bent. if its stainless and mandrel then its just a lil high but if it is stainless and mandrel im assuming you would have advertised it as that lol. how much did u pay for this and more details would be good. mildly interested, (but i would be shit canning the muffler hehe)

It is a cat-back minus 4 inches..
Used? One month old..
A shop will charge $400, I thought this would be considered a good price? Ones like the ARK are $500.

Okay, price is OBO .. I'm just trying to sell, I thought $215 was cheap for an exhaust but I guess not, so I'll let someone throw another figure at me if you want..
I will have the flange welded on at no cost to you if you wish.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (majiktib @ Jul 26 2005, 07:56 AM)</div><div class='quotemain'>where does the exhaust you're selling bolt up? Is it to the cat or right at the headers? I have headers but my flex pipe was too short... does 1st O2 sensor plug into the exhaust?

I will include the stock flex pipe.
It connects to the stock flex pipe, well, actually it's welded to it.
Since headers replace the flex pipe, this is why I said it would need to have a flange welded on IF you decide to run headers. Again, I can get this done for anyone who wants it before I send it if you want me to.
Not sure about the o2 thing..isn't the 2nd o2 sensor in the flex pipe? If so yes. If not then where is it? I'll take a look (tell me what I'm lookin for though wink1.gif)

thx
