How much can the auto tranny hold?

I'm guessing the engine is crooked because the tranny is out so therefore the axle and engine mount on that side are out with nothing to hold it up?

It just goes to show the seller obviously isn't of very high intelligence and probably doesn't have a friggin clue as to what the car is really worth or needs. One of those rare buys where the person is like, "Ah, it's a black car? I'll sell it for $200? Quote: This is a project that my son bought and has since moved on to bigger and better things. Wow, I can't believe this got posted on here. Damn it. I'm willing to bet someone posted this on HP and any other Tib-related forum. I'll just say it here. I'm splitting the cost of the bid for the car between 2 other people (Maier and Skierd). The engine, shifter plate, rims, and rear brake discs already have dibs on. Oh...and the entire chassis of the car as well (no the body panels). Personally, I'm more interested on the barebone chassis at the moment. Waiting for a friend to hear back from the owner of the car too. Sorry, dude...Maier needs that engine [block], and skierd seems interested in the rims. I've also got another guy who needs the rear brake discs. And personally, I don't really care about the missing tranny, b/c I don't need it. wink.gif

Oh, I'll most likely smash the windshield when I take it off...so...if anyone wants that too, I'm sure I can arrange for it to be safe-keeping. wink.gif

Though...if Liz can send one of her multiple Tibs my way (chassis) for less than $200, I may reconsider.

I really need to replace my blown engien and I desperately need that engine.

Pretty plz. Think about what an engineer can do, let alone an ecstatic tuner. And by engineer, I mean a moron who's willing to waste his life and money on a cheap average car. wink.gif
