$1,100.00 for the white/purple bike.
As luck would have it I was delivering the car and one of the rear tires blew...LOL Thankfully it was right in front of the tire shop I used to work at. I pulled in and they happen to have a nice set of 175/70R-14 tires with about 80% tread life left. The cost was $30.00 and I mounted and balanced them myself. Steve (new owner) was more then satisfied with car.
My new CBR is hella SCHWEET!!!! For only having 105 horsepower the bike is wicked quick/fast. Much faster then my previous GSX Katana 600 F with an overbore, vance & hines pipe, and jet kit.
I can't wait to get the new parts on it tomorrow.

Because I got $300.00+ more then your offer?
I told you many times when we talked that Steve was 99.9% sure he was gonna buy the car (or trade for the bike).
He expressed interest in the car when it was laying behind my dads shop a few weeks ago.
I told Steve I'd have to get $2,000.00 for the car as-is.
This is when I first listed the car on here for sale for the same price. As with any car I build the more work I do to it (and/or new & performance parts I add to it), the more the car is worth and the higher the price.
I wasn't sure how serious this Steve was. When you are selling multiple cars all the time like we do you get used to the tire kickers always offering to buy (or trade for something). They just have to go home and get the money and then you never see them again.
Steve stated he'd like me to fix a few things on it first. I agreed to fix what the car needed to be legal (headlights, pushing out the quarter so the tire doesn't rub on bumps, fixing the exhaust, speedo sensor, and the seat belts) and the rest would be up to him.
I ended up fixing a lot more then that (nearly new set of tires, got the radio/CD player working, installed the header, installed a Flowmaster SS performance muffler). Steve agreed that with the additional work I did and the way the car was now that it was worth $2,500.00 to him and a striaght up even trade would be more then fair.
When I listed the car for sale here I had a lot off tire kickers, a few people saying "I am so close to having the money hopefully I can come up with the rest in time", and of course the usual low ball offers. But nobody said I have the cash sitting here.
I got everything fixed up last week and ready for Steve then you said you were interested in the car, but needed to know so you could get the "rest of the money".
I told you that I would contact Steve and have him come and look at the car and make sure he is 100% interested and going to follow through if I tell RDTiburon that the car is sold. He lives 30-45 minutes from here and I didn't have the car plated for on road use so I didn't want to bring the car to him and chance it. He works at the local Advance Auto Parts Mon.-Fri. 9am-5pm. I work Mon.-Thurs. 7am-6pm (most days even later). My only day for getting out and about during local business hours are Fridays (if I don't get have top work O/T).
This past Wednesday you PM'd (or called) and said if you are going to buy the car you needed to know by Friday so you can make plans and get the rest of the money. I called Steve on Thursday evening when I got home from work. I told him that I had a cash offer sitting on the table and was going to take if he hesitated. He stated that he needed the car as the bike was his only mode of transportation and it'll be snowing here very soon. He said he would ride the bike in the next day (Friday) and have the title with him and consider it a done deal. I then came on here and posted the car as sold and sent you a PM letting you know the car is sold so you could persue the others you stated you were interested in and were going to look at.
Here is what you posted on Wednesday:

Not hearing anything from you on Thursday (or even knowing if you could get the money on Friday), I took the guaranteed sale I had sitting right in front of me.

this is what you posted the day after i talked to you.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (daniel_depetro @ Sep 24 2008, 06:45 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I went through the car and fixed a few things so the buyer has absolutely NOTHING to complain about.
I removed the factory catalytic converter/exhaust manifold and installed a brand new SSAutoChrome header. I ported it myself. Their obstructive welds on the inside of the header flange left something to be desired. The car is a little on the loud side now that it has no cat. and a free flowing Flowmaster muffler.
The muffler is a Flowmaster 40 stainless steel with Delta Flow technology (P/N: 842041). It was originally a 2.00" in/out, however I opened it up to a true 2.25" (Flowmasters are open internally so all you have to do is enlarge the inlet & outlet). It is a performance street/strip muffler and it sounds nice.
The heater, A/C, engine cooling fans, power moonroof, power windows, power locks, power steering & brakes all work like new.
Every bulb in the entire car functions/illuminates.
A lot of people have been asking me about reliability, if I think this car will make it to this or that destination without issues. This car is mechanically almost NEW! I would drive this car anywhere in the USA as it sits right now which I can do if you need it delivered (for a small fee).
I also fixed the factory radio/CD player. It works like new. I installed some new rear speakers as well.
I haven't found a replacement speedo sending unit, however I will buy one and install as soon as I find one OR ship it to the buyer. I will include it with the sale.
The price is now $2,200.00
The only flaws about this car now is the tires (3 are almost bald, I can install a brand new set of 4 CHEAP with mounting & balancing about $175.00) and the bodywork needed (only on driver side quarter panel & hood).
I will be adding the new tires in a few days and the price will go up again ($2,400.00).</div>
you RELISTED A SOLD CAR! most people dont re-list a car after they tell someone that they can have it if their other buyer doesnt get it, whenever the other buyer still is getting it. ALSO answering your phone might have helped for the last week.
and i did not say friday i said thursday so i could have the money by friday
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>ok, i need to know by tomarow evening if you will sell me the car. im looking at two others on thursday. so i will need to know how much i need from the bank on friday. also im interested in getting the hood and pullies if i get the car. so this is not completley off topic.</div>
