A few more photos...

Another update with things I forgot:

The car now has a full exhaust on it with a FlowMaster stainless steel muffler. I believe it is a 50 series but I am not 100% sure on that.
I thought the exhaust was missing/rusted, however the previous owner just cut the muffler off it. I had the Flowmaster I took off the silver Tib when I put the DynoMax on it so it will go right on there and it is in great shape!

The CD player is not hooked up. When the previous owner put thier own CD player in they cut the main radio harness (why I do not know?). The good news is while cleaning it out the other day I found the original end that plugs into the back of the CD player. I will mess with that (splice it back together) and see if the radio works.

The cup holder is broken but included. It functions perfect, however only has one mounting tab left on it.

The shifter boot and e-brake cable boot are peeling badly.

It wouldn't hurt to have a 4-wheel alignment done on it.

The manifold is cracked, however the car has not been in for the 'silent recall' and my closest dealer (140 miles away @ 55 mph) said whenever I want to bring it down there they will swap it out.

The speedo doesn't function at all. When I got the car the original transmission was grenaded and busted the speedo gear. When I swapped the Beta-II transmission in that speedo gear would not plug into the harness. You will need a good used speedo gear from any 1997-2001 Hyundai 5-speed transmission and you are good to go. This should be cheap on eBay and such. If I see one reasonable I'll pick it up and include it.

What is this about? Can you explain?

^^^ stock ehxaust manifolds on the rds are known to crack, but under warranty it can be fixed for free.

edit--> Like I said in the SB, if you still ahve it when I get the money within a month I'll take it. Needs some work but decent for the price.

I do not mind working something out with Optimoprime like we have been negotiating, however if someone walked up to me with $2,000.00 cash tonight, they would obviously drive the car away.

I went through the car and fixed a few things so the buyer has absolutely NOTHING to complain about.

I removed the factory catalytic converter/exhaust manifold and installed a brand new SSAutoChrome header. I ported it myself. Their obstructive welds on the inside of the header flange left something to be desired. The car is a little on the loud side now that it has no cat. and a free flowing Flowmaster muffler.
The muffler is a Flowmaster 40 stainless steel with Delta Flow technology (P/N: 842041). It was originally a 2.00" in/out, however I opened it up to a true 2.25" (Flowmasters are open internally so all you have to do is enlarge the inlet & outlet). It is a performance street/strip muffler and it sounds nice.
The heater, A/C, engine cooling fans, power moonroof, power windows, power locks, power steering & brakes all work like new.
Every bulb in the entire car functions/illuminates.
A lot of people have been asking me about reliability, if I think this car will make it to this or that destination without issues. This car is mechanically almost NEW! I would drive this car anywhere in the USA as it sits right now which I can do if you need it delivered (for a small fee).

I also fixed the factory radio/CD player. It works like new. I installed some new rear speakers as well.

I haven't found a replacement speedo sending unit, however I will buy one and install as soon as I find one OR ship it to the buyer. I will include it with the sale.

The price is now $2,200.00

The only flaws about this car now is the tires (3 are almost bald, I can install a brand new set of 4 CHEAP with mounting & balancing about $175.00) and the bodywork needed (only on driver side quarter panel & hood).

I will be adding the new tires in a few days and the price will go up again ($2,400.00).

The red Tiburon has been sold!!!

Thanks RDTiburon.com for the interest & the ad.

I actually traded for a motorcycle. He took the car as-is without the new rear speakers, and with the understanding that I will replace the seat belts and speedo sensor for him as soon as I get them.

Here is the 1996 Honda CBR 600 F3 with 10,600 miles I traded it for:

Now all I have to do is swap out the S.S. pipe, new smoked windshield, new round key ignition, new flush mount blinkers, new mirrors and such I bought for my current 1996 Honda CBR 600 F3 with 14,XXX miles and replace it with the stock stuff from the red/white bike and sell the white/purple bike.
