atari 2600 (way before NIN-tendo) games were pit fall, and frogger. also altered beasts was around that tim at the local 7-11

Sounds like Combat!

My first game was a console put out by Sears. It had tennis and hockey. It was alot like pong. Then we got the Atari 2600 for christmas, I received Basketball and my brother got Combat.

The first game i played was on Atari. not sure what the game was called. But if i remember right you were in a spaceship flying over moutains or something and you have to shoot the other ships as you fly up behind them... Then it was. Mario, then Days of Thunder, then Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, then Battletoads...

I believe it was either Zelda or Super Mario on the SNES....

This thread is pretty cool. Looking at everyones first game you can kind of tell there age group. If you look at my kids first games they are things like Pokemon Colliseum, Mario 64, etc.
