The Halo series is the best videogame series ever.

As for the Hard Drive, who cares? Pay the $399 and you get a hard drive and EVERY thing you'd want for it. Or pay $299 and get just the system and very little else.

 

If you don't get the $399 version you are a fool. The cheaper one is made for parents who want to get their kid an Xbox 360 for christmas but can't spend the extra $100. I'm serious. That's what the Microsoft rep told us at work. You get so much more for the $100 that it's remedial not to.

The only non-sports game I'm looking at is Gears of War. That looks okay.

 

Never really got into the Halo bandwagon; I played FPS for like 12 years (starting with Wolfenstein and Doom), so I'm a *little* tired of them now wink1.gif I mostly play RTS, RPG and sports games these days. Any good games in those departments coming out for the 360?

i don't play games...i prefer to go out and do things myself. ie., basketball, football, hockey, snowboarding, snowmachining, rock climbing, etc.

but i think i might pick one of these up for the days i feel lazy.

yea, not a big halo fan either. i used to be a counter-strike junkie.

 

Remember this system has some very special stuff. Like if you have a wireless router, you put a wireless adapter on your 360 and you can now play VIDEO, AUDIO, OR PICTURES, WIRELESSLY, OVER YOUR HOME THEATER....

That's friggin sweet as it is.

For the RPG's, bro, one of the best ever is coming out for the 360 as a launch title. Elder Scrolls Oblivion, it's mentioned above.

Also, Final Fantasy is coming to the 360. There are a bunch of REALLY big new games coming.

Gears of war is going to change the way FPS's play. It's a combo FPS and Third person shooter.

Shit, go check some of the games out. Mind blowing.

 

Dude! I went to WalMart and saw the Xbox 360 there on display too! I don't know what the name of that WWII game they were playing was, but it does look fricken awesome!!!
