I have had two..

an 88 Excel and my 99 Tib.. bought them both new from the dealer.. actually traded the excel in on the tib.

I am actually thinking of looking for a used accent to convert to electric for around town driving.

I would buy another hyundai IF....

They make a RWD Luxury/Sports car. I'm not talking about just a RWD GK with the Azera 3.8L V6. I'm talking about a REAL frickin sports car with a dedicated Sports motor in it (turbo or supercharged would be nice, but not required) wraped in a RWD or AWD platform that HANDLES GREAT from the factory. Similar to the 350Z/G35/Supra.

They make a REAL SUV for off roading. Think FJ Cruiser/Xterra/Defender kind of SUV. Good approach/departure angles, good power, 3 locking differentials.

There's nothing CURRENTLY that Hyundai makes/offers that I would be interested in.

I don't think I would. Not because they don't make decent cars but only because I'd be looking for something a bit more practical & with a bit more squirt next time around... I'm not keen on the Sonata & don't want an SUV either.

I would look at something like a Mazda6 MPS, Subaru Liberty 3.0 R-B or maybe stretch the budget a bit & get an Evo IX... Something reasonably priced with 4 doors, that is nice looking & has a bit of urge fing02.gif

Wasn't me. I couldn't afford an RD. I've got a house to buy, a engagement ring to pay for, and a wedding to pay for. I'm selling every god damn thing I can.

I'm thining about getting a used Sonata V6 in a year. They're extremely cheap, like $3-4k, and I can turn it into a reliable, daily driving, n/a beast with luxury.
